Support & Maintenance

Our Support & Maintenance Packages are built to proactively stop website security issues and to update software, taking preventative measures to avoid site-breaking problems in the future. At Legroom we like to focus on prevention, rather than ‘after-the-event’ support.

What’s included?

Site Performance and Monitoring | Frequency: Daily

We’ll check and monitor website speeds and page load times, keeping our eyes peeled for any problematic areas.

If we come across any small fixes, we’ll complete those as part of your Support & Maintenance Package, however, if we come across any major roadblocks, they’ll be escalated to a project and we’ll estimate those separately.

Plugin Updates | Frequency: Fortnightly

If we come across any plugins that require updating, we’ll test them in a development environment prior to pushing it live – we want to make sure that your site remains functional and that we iron out any kinks before going live.

If the updates are major, or imperative for your business to function, we’ll notify you prior to the update, and do our best to action the update outside of business hours.

CMS Updates | Frequency: Fortnightly

Wherever possible, we’ll ensure that your Content Management System is kept up-to-date. In the event that a CMS update could break any custom or legacy plugins installed on your site, we’ll provide you with advice, and discuss how you feel most comfortable moving forward.

For security updates, we will assess the importance of updating immediately, and action accordingly.

Small CSS/Browser Tweaks | Frequency: As required

Any minor rendering issues will be rectified as we find them. However, if we come across any large-scale issues, we’ll estimate those separately.

Email Forms/Confirmation Notifications | Frequency: Monthly

We’ll check your email forms manually, and also request a confirmation of receipt, to ensure everything is running as seamlessly as possible.

Major RoadBlock Alerts

If your website encounters any issues that stop it from functioning, like an API no longer being supported, we’ll bring it to your attention. These site-breaking issues may result in a small fix which we can carry out as part of your Support & Maintenance Package, however, if they turn out to be larger fixes, we’ll need to estimate those separately.
